Description

TNTET 2026 Outlook

While the 2026 annual planner is highly anticipated, based on recent TRB trends and Supreme Court directives to clear backlogs, the state has plans to conduct six TET exams within a two-year window. 

Notification: Expected to follow the TRB Annual Planner once released.

Eligibility: Candidates must be at least 18 years old with no upper age limit for TET specifically.

Important Notes

Certificate Validity:

Once qualified, your TNTET certificate is valid for a lifetime.

Recruitment: Passing TNTET is a mandatory eligibility requirement, but does not guarantee a job. Qualified candidates must often sit for a separate Recruitment Exam (like the SGT or Graduate Teacher recruitment) to secure a position.
